1. Who may use Sportify

You must be legally competent to enter into a contract. A person under 18 may use Sportify only through, or with the permission and supervision of, a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms and is responsible for the minor’s activity.

You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.

2. What Sportify provides

Sportify is a technology platform that helps players and guardians discover academies, purchase sport-specific training plans, track attendance, join tournaments, receive announcements, and review participating academies.

Unless a screen expressly says otherwise, academies, coaches, venues, and tournament organizers are independent service providers. They—not Sportify—deliver the coaching, venue, tournament, safety, and other offline services shown in the app.

3. Accounts and roles

Your permissions depend on your role, which may include player, guardian, coach, academy owner, academy administrator, employee, or platform administrator. You may use only the features available to your role.

Guardians confirm that they have legal authority to create and manage a linked minor profile. Academy owners and staff confirm that they are authorized to act for the academy and that information and documents they submit are genuine and current.

When a linked player reaches 18, an authorized guardian or Sportify Support may invite that adult to take control of the same player profile. Acceptance preserves the profile’s history, ends every guardian’s access to that adult identity, and makes the adult responsible for securing the new login.

4. Plans, enrollment, and attendance

• Plans belong to a specific academy and sport and may include a session limit and validity period.
• A player may have only one active or pending plan for the same academy and sport at a time, but may hold plans for different sports or academies.
• Sessions are deducted when eligible attendance is marked. Players may use the correction process if an attendance record is wrong.
• Unused sessions may expire when the displayed validity period ends unless the academy adjusts the validity or applicable law requires otherwise.

5. Prices, payments, and receipts

Prices are displayed in Indian rupees unless stated otherwise. The checkout screen shows the amount due before payment. Online payments may be processed by Razorpay or another disclosed payment provider under that provider’s terms.

Where an academy enables cash, payment is made directly to that academy. Sportify records the academy’s confirmation but does not collect, hold, settle, or charge commission on that cash. A plan or tournament entry activates only after the academy confirms receipt.

You authorize Sportify and its payment provider to process a selected online payment. Do not close or repeat a payment while it is being confirmed. A plan or tournament entry is confirmed only after the online payment succeeds or the academy approves a cash payment.

6. Cancellations and refunds

The cancellation, transfer, and refund terms displayed for a plan or tournament form part of these Terms. Refund eligibility may depend on payment status, event status, sessions already used, academy policy, and applicable law.

Cash refunds are returned directly by the academy. Sportify may show a refund as due until authorized academy staff confirm that the cash was returned.

Sportify will not use these Terms to remove any non-waivable consumer right. If a service is cancelled, materially misdescribed, not provided, or charged incorrectly, contact support and we will review the transaction with the relevant provider.

7. Tournaments

Tournament details, eligibility, entry format, schedule, venue, fees, team requirements, and organizer rules are shown on the tournament pages and form part of your entry agreement.

You confirm that each entered participant is medically and physically able to participate and has agreed to take part. Sport involves risk of injury. Follow organizer, venue, safety, and medical instructions at all times.

8. Reviews, images, and other content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Sportify a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve Sportify.

Do not submit content that is false, unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, infringing, deceptive, or that exposes another person’s private information without permission. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Academy and staff responsibilities

• Provide accurate academy, coach, licence, location, plan, price, batch, tournament, and availability information.
• Maintain required registrations, permissions, insurance, qualified staff, safeguarding practices, and safe facilities.
• Mark and correct attendance honestly and handle player data only for authorized Sportify purposes.
• Use only the payment methods offered in Sportify checkout, do not arrange unrecorded payments, manipulate ratings, misuse player contact details, or misrepresent approval or verification status.

10. Prohibited use

You may not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security, scrape or copy protected data, upload malicious code, impersonate another person, create fraudulent transactions, harass users, or use Sportify for unlawful activity.

11. Verification and safety

An “approved” or “verified” label means only that Sportify completed the checks described for that label at the relevant time. It is not a guarantee of quality, fitness, safety, continuous compliance, or a particular result.

Use reasonable judgment before participating. Report safety, safeguarding, fraud, or misconduct concerns to the academy or organizer and to Sportify. Contact emergency services where immediate help is required.

12. Availability and third-party services

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal, or business reasons. Sportify may rely on third-party services for payments, maps, notifications, hosting, media, and device features; those services may have separate terms and availability.

13. Suspension and termination

We may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to investigate or address fraud, safety risk, non-payment, unlawful conduct, repeated policy violations, or harm to Sportify or its users. You may stop using Sportify at any time and may request account closure through support, subject to legal retention duties.

14. Disclaimers and liability

Sportify is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sportify does not guarantee uninterrupted access, academy performance, sporting outcomes, or that every listing or user statement will always be error-free.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those rights, Sportify is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for acts or omissions of independent academies, coaches, venues, organizers, users, or third-party providers outside Sportify’s reasonable control.

15. Intellectual property

Sportify’s software, branding, interface, and platform content are protected by law. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use Sportify for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership of Sportify intellectual property.

16. Privacy

Our Privacy Notice explains what personal data we handle, why we handle it, who receives it, how long it is retained, and the choices available to you. The Privacy Notice is separate from these Terms and should be read before creating an account.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the service, law, or our practices change. We will publish the new version and effective date and, where required, ask you to accept material changes. Continued use after an applicable effective date may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with lawful jurisdiction in India may hear disputes, subject to mandatory consumer forum rights and any other jurisdiction that applicable law requires. Please contact support first so we can try to resolve the issue promptly.
